Sunday, September 7, is the date for our Fall Church-wide Luncheon. Sign up on one of the clipboards available at the back table or at the Coffee Bar and plan to bring a side dish or dessert. The Chapel will provide fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls.
The Tuesday morning Women’s Bible Study begins September 9 at 10:00 am in the gym foyer. Michael Thompson will be teaching an expositional, doctrinal, and practical series based on the Westminster Shorter Catechism. The nursery will be open for any mothers who would like to participate.
The Tuesday morning Men’s Bible Study resumes September 9 at 10:00 am in the conference room. Mark Casey will be teaching the book of Hebrews verse-by-verse.
Particular Redemption: The Tent, the Intent, and the Extent – Mark Casey will be teaching a four-week series on “Limited Atonement” on Wednesdays, beginning September 10th at 7:00 p.m. It will cover the doctrine of particular redemption in the Old Testament, God’s purpose in sending Christ, what He actually accomplished on the Cross, and pertinent passages in the New Testament.
