REOPENING BELIEVERS CHAPEL – UPDATE NO. 1

The elders and deacons are pleased to announce that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the Chapel will phase-in reopening for Sunday morning services no later than Sunday, June 28, 2020. Upon reopening, Sunday services shall be the Ministry of the Word immediately followed by observance of the Lord’s Supper.

The deacons are working diligently to coordinate our reopening through prayer, discussions with the membership, and guidance from other Christian churches, the CDC, and state guidelines for churches and places of worship.

The elders are currently reviewing a re-open plan prepared by the deacons regarding the way we shall accommodate the number of people attending; how social distancing will be maintained; safety measures to be observed on Sunday mornings; details of cleaning measures to assure safety to all attending; extent of nursery services to be provided; and recommendations for continued worship from home.
